HOURS
* Mon- Fri Schedule available*

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide an inviting, exciting, innovative, learning environment;
* Provide direct and indirect instruction to students with IEPs, as needed;
* Conduct long- and short-term planning with teachers and parents to address individual needs of students;
* Document and report student progress toward achievement of annual goals by collecting and interpreting data;
* Attend and participate in parent conferences and IEP meetings;provide instruction of students by developing, selecting and modifying instructional plans and material and presenting them using instructional techniques which meet the needs of all students.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Commitment to the success of each and every student;
* Teaching experience in a public or private school, preferably in an urban setting;
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member;
* Experience in writing and monitoring IEPs and communicating with families and service providers to support students;ability to work with diverse populations;excellent knowledge and understanding of the teaching and learning process.
* Master's degree in special education preferred;
